Why we built Letter Studio
A business letter should not fight its margins. Letter Studio is the tool we wanted.
Most software treats a business letter like a blank page. You get a toolbar with a hundred options, start from scratch, and spend the evening nudging the address block so it fits the envelope window.
Formal letters have rules. In Germany, DIN 5008 fixes where the address goes so it lines up with a window envelope: a 45 × 85 mm field, with fold marks at 105 and 210 mm. Get it wrong and the recipient's name hides behind the paper.
Letter Studio starts from those rules instead of a blank page. Pick a template, add your logo and signature, and export a print-ready PDF. It all runs in your browser, so the letter never leaves your computer.
It is free to use. That was the point: a tool that does one job well and stays out of the way.
